OMAL attention in Covid-19 pandemic control has not stopped: our commitment is permanent and that is why today we re-conducted the Serological Test on all our employees in Rodengo Saiano and Passirano plants (as previously done in May 2020).

It is already known that the region where OMAL is located in Italy is one of the areas most affected by the virus. For this reason in order to give a real and active contribution in the limitation of the virus spread, OMAL willingly decided to stop production activities in the second week of March, before the official  Government Decree lockdown introduction. In 2020 OMAL has reached a CSR score higher than 70/100.

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma CDS Srl, einem namhaften Unternehmen aus Brescia auf dem Gebiet der Arbeitsmedizin, wurden etwa 190 Antikörper-Schnelltest IgG/IgM (Fingerstich) durchgeführt, wobei die Ergebnisse in 10 Minuten abgelesen werden konnten. Nur im Falle eines positiven Ergebnisses folgte daraufhin eine sofortige Blutentnahme für die quantitative Antikörperbestimmung.
Diese Tests sind nur der abschließende Teil eines umfassenden Katalogs von Maßnahmen, die OMAL und ACTUATECH zur Bewältigung des Gesundheitsnotstands durchgeführt haben [...]

OMAL S.p.A. hat sich dazu entschlossen, in diesem schwierigen Moment eines medizinischen Notstand einen Beitrag zu leisten. Das Unternehmen hat der Fondazione Spedali Civili in Brescia 50.000 € gespendet, die für den Kauf von B-PAP-Beatmungsgeräten verwendet werden. Dies ist wichtig, um die Anzahl der im Krankenhaus verfügbaren Intensivbetten zu erhöhen und den aktuellen Gesundheitsnotstand zu bewältigen.
